16. My Five Main Ideas and Story Boards

1. The Studio

A visual of the recording process of the song itself. The video will begin with the artist (person one) in the studio with typical studio sounds in the background before the track begins to play.

2. The Beach

Next, there is a shot of person one walking on the beach which is a reoccurring visual throughout the video in which the intensity of their emotions increases. This will include movement to convey that idea.

3. The Bedroom

There will be a 'bedroom shot' of person one and person two lying in a bed together whilst person one is lipsyncing. This is a repeating visual throughout the video, however, the positioning of the characters changes parallel to the narrative depending on whether or not the relationship is steady or if it is rocky. For example, person one and person two will be facing each other in one scene, dissimilar to another scene when person one is facing the camera and person two is turned away from person one on their phone which is the first visual in my video showing the relevance of technology and how that has an impact on real life.

4. The Couple Stuff

There will be a montage of person one and person two baking a cake in a kitchen setting, with flour everywhere and a mess on the island. However, this will contrast with another scene where person three joins in and person two is too engrossed in having fun with them instead.

5. The Mundane Lipsync

I will integrate the visual of person one sitting outside at night on a pavement or patio with lights facing them directly, whilst they lipsync. This juxtaposition is stemming from the idea that the spotlight has been taken away from them in the relationship aspect of their life and their love is no longer received as romantic, only platonic.
