BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Spike Jonze, born Adam Spiegel, is an American actor, filmmaker, musician and photographer. He was one of three who made Dirt Magazine which was a lifestyle magazine with a target audience of young men. "We're all about sports, music, movies, girls and junk food." Jonze was also the editor for Grand Royal Magazine, as well as the senior photographer for Transworld Skateboarding.

MUSIC VIDEOS:
Spike's first 'big break' was when he was hired to shoot skateboarding videos for Sonic Youth's 100% video. Since then he has created a multitude of music videos, short and feature films, and even adverts.
The biggest music video he created was Sabotage by the Beastie Boys. This won four MTV Video Music Awards and one was the "best director".
